Here in this blog, I am writing a quick self-forgiveness and some quick commitments in relation to a general point that came up throughout the day in relation to 'emotions', and how 'emotions' are used as 'crutches' to not take self-responsibility for the point(s) that are suppressed and hidden behind emotional reactions.
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to remain in an emotional state such as 'depression' or 'anger' or 'fear' believing that I have to let the emotion 'run it's course' within myself because of the belief that the 'emotion' is me expressing the way that I 'feel inside'. Within this, I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to allow the 'part of me' that expresses 'emotions' to 'run its course' within myself because of the belief that it is me expressing the way that I 'feel inside', and not KNOW in detail what the reason(s) is that contributed to me becoming 'emotional' in the 'first place'.
I see, realize, and understand that through me accepting and allowing 'emotions' and 'feelings' to 'run their course' within me, that I am 'inflating the value' of them, and giving them a value 'more than myself'.
I commit myself to, instead of letting 'emotions' 'run their course' within me -- to 'direct' whatever needs to be directed in the moment because I realize that when and as I accept and allow emotions to 'direct' me, that I am not 'here', and have given the 'essence' of myself to 'emotions' to direct me which is, in-fact, self-diminishment.
I commit myself to be aware of when I go into an emotional reaction because I see, realize, and understand that when and as I go into an emotional reaction, that it symbolizes where I am not effectively directing myself in physical reality, and so I commit myself to 'identify' the emotion with a word or a few words, such as 'depression', and assess what I am 'suppressing' within myself to the point that I am using 'depression' as a 'crutch' to not take self-responsibilty for that which I am suppressing within myself.
